Elevated Approach Light Bulbs - Par Lamps Airport Lighting

 Description: Airport lighting par lamps are tungsten quartz halogen lights or xenon strobe flashlamps. The par lighting sizes are Par 20, 30, 36, 38, 46, 56, 64. Lamp current for the halogen lighting types is either 6.6 Ampere or 20.0 Ampere. The par 64 is used primarily in the VASI lighting systems or rotating airport beacon fixtures. The par 56 is used for some of the older L-850, l-852 airport lighting fixtures and 120 volt runway approach lighting systems. The par 56 is also used for the MALSR lighting systems and ALSF runway approach lighting systems.

These airfield lamps are used in airfield runway lighting approach lighting, runway touchdown lighting, runway centerline lighting, VASI, PAPI, and stop and hold airfield lighting signs. These airport light bulbs meet the FAA lighting requirements for L-801, L-802, L-804, L-806, L-849, L-880 and l-881.
