Durable light weight plastic housing-never needs painting. Automatically adapts to the CCRs current for its three brightness levels and provides the FAA specified relative light intensities. To rapidly melt ice and snow on the lens, the optional Arctic Kit turns the lens heater on at approximately 0°C and remains on until the lens reaches a temperature of approximately 25°C. Blue glass globe lens matched to LED for optimal visibility. 1.5 frangible coupling for stake or baseplate installation. |
